What Akiflow is — in our words

Akiflow owns the manual end of scheduling optimisation: it does not autopilot your day like Motion, it gives you a fast, keyboard-driven way to plan it yourself. Tasks flow in from email, Slack, to-do apps and project tools into one inbox, and you drag or shortcut them into time blocks on a calendar that merges your work and personal accounts. Its AI assistant, Aki, is included and helps capture, schedule and reschedule by command, and a hosted connector lets other AI tools act on your Akiflow tasks and calendar. Daily planning and shutdown rituals keep the system honest without handing control to an algorithm. For a solo founder who likes time-blocking but loses tasks across five apps, that consolidation is the whole value. Be clear on what it is not: it is not an inbox assistant that replies for you, and meeting recording is not included. Transcripts, summaries and action items from calls are an optional paid add-on on top of the Pro subscription, a cost many roundups omit. There is also no free plan, only a short trial that requires a card. If you want control with speed rather than automation, Akiflow fits; if you want the calendar to plan itself, look at Reclaim or Motion.

What it does end-to-end

  • Consolidates tasks from email, Slack and task apps into one inbox
  • Time-blocks tasks onto a unified calendar with fast keyboard commands
  • Includes Aki AI assistant for capture and scheduling commands
  • Offers guided daily planning and shutdown rituals

What it does NOT do

  • Does not auto-schedule and re-plan your day like Motion
  • Does not triage or send email for you
  • Meeting recording and transcripts are a paid add-on, not included in Pro

  • Manual planning still takes a daily ritual to pay off
