Docyt
AI bookkeeping and close automation built for multi-location and multi-entity operators
Right tool for a multi-location operator — the catch for a solo is that pricing is quote-only and now aimed at hotel portfolios, not one-location businesses.

What Docyt is — in our words
Docyt is an automation layer that sits on top of QuickBooks Online and runs bookkeeping continuously for businesses whose books are split across locations, departments or entities. Its AI learns each location's patterns, categorises and reconciles transactions, extracts line items from invoices and receipts, handles revenue and deposit tracking from multiple systems, pays bills by check or ACH for a per-payment fee, and rolls everything up into consolidated reporting so an owner can see one business instead of five partial ones. That per-location design is also its pricing design: Docyt now prices per property and publishes no figures at all — every plan is quoted from your property details, a change that came with a full repositioning of the product around hotels and property portfolios. Onboarding is a guided, demo-led process rather than instant self-serve, and the product is at its best in hospitality, restaurants and franchised or multi-unit businesses where departmental profit and loss actually matters. If you run exactly one small business from one place, cheaper ledgers and services will do the same core job for less, with prices you can actually read first. If you run several locations and your close currently depends on spreadsheets stitching QuickBooks files together, Docyt addresses a real and painful problem.
What it does end-to-end
- Categorises and reconciles transactions per location with AI that learns each unit's patterns
- Extracts line-item data from bills, invoices and receipts automatically
- Tracks revenue and deposits across multiple revenue systems
- Produces departmental and consolidated roll-up reporting across locations
- Pays bills by check and ACH from within the platform
What it does NOT do
- Each business or location needs its own subscription — costs multiply with units
- Publishes no prices at all — every plan is quoted, and the product now targets hotels and property portfolios
- Built around QuickBooks Online; other ledger integrations are not its focus
- Guided onboarding, not instant self-serve setup
Pricing — checked 2026-11-04
Pricing not published — quote only. Docyt's pricing page publishes no figures at all (verified on the pre-publish recheck): price follows the size and type of each property and the modules chosen, quoted from your property details, usually within one business day. Plans are annual; integrations, onboarding and training are included, and check/ACH payments carry per-transaction fees disclosed on the order form. Earlier published tiers (Impact $299 / Advanced $499 / Advanced Plus $799 / Enterprise $999+) were withdrawn when Docyt repositioned around hotels.
Integrations we verified: QuickBooks Online, Revenue and point-of-sale systems, Bank and card connections, Bill pay (check and ACH)
Pros — our take
- Purpose-built for the multi-location close, a genuinely hard bookkeeping problem
- Consolidated reporting removes spreadsheet stitching across entities
- Modules (Accounting, Payments, Business Intelligence) can be bought separately rather than as one bundle
Cons — our take
- No published prices at all — every figure requires a quote, and the product has repositioned around hotels and properties
- Per-location subscriptions punish exactly the growth it is sold for
- Guided, multi-day onboarding rather than sign-up-and-go
